About us

Division of Forest Planning was integrated into Ministry of Agriculture in 2024. The Division performs its duties through the following organisational units:

Department of Forest Planning and Forest Inventory

Department of Forest Inspection and Forest Database Operation

Departments of Regional Forest Planning

The Division is responsible for maintaining and directing the comprehensive system of district forest management plans, directing the related activities it performs as a managing and maintaining the National Forest Database and meeting the requirements laid down within the Forest Protection Measurement and Monitoring System (Hungarian acronym EMMRE).
